KRYM-SPAS evacuated the injured tourist from the southern coast of Mount Koshka

Today, at 10:20, System 112 received a message that in the village of Simeiz, on Mount Koshka, a man is beeping and asking for help. The help of rescuers in evacuation is required. The duty shift of the Yalta emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS» was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, KRYM-SPAS employees made visual contact with the victim, climbed Mount Koshka and found a tourist with a head and leg injury. Rescuers found out that the man, through negligence, made a fall on a rock mass— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Rescuers provided first aid to the victim: they immobilized the injured limb. After that, with the help of a special stretcher, a man, born in 1986, was transported along a difficult rocky terrain to a safe place, where he was handed over to the ambulance staff for further hospitalization.
