«Krymmedstrakh»: there is a new procedure for dispensary observation. What are we talking about?

The document significantly expands the list of chronic diseases, functional disorders and other conditions, in the presence of which it is necessary to follow up with a general practitioner, a cardiologist, as well as specialists in diseases and conditions that precede the development of malignant neoplasms. For these specialists, lists have been approved indicating diseases, controlled indicators, the duration of dispensary observation , the experts note.

In total, more than 50 conditions were included in the list of diseases, in the presence of which dispensary observation is established.

Citizens with chronic diseases or a high risk of their development, as well as those citizens who are recovering from acute diseases (including poisoning and injuries), as before, within 3 days after the diagnosis was established when providing outpatient medical care or discharge from hospitals are subject to dispensary observation. That is, they can undergo regular examinations in order to identify and prevent complications, exacerbations of their diseases, prevention and necessary medical rehabilitation.

In order for insured citizens not to forget to visit a doctor in a timely manner as part of dispensary observation, Krymmedstrakh insurance representatives regularly invite them to visit a medical organization at the place of attachment. For 8 months 237 of the year, more than 237 thousand such invitations were sent to residents of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol .
