Maria Zakharova: the Kiev regime dreams of returning Crimea by force and at the cost of the lives of the Crimeans themselves

On November 24, the fourth so-called “parliamentary summit” of the anti-Russian project “Crimean Platform” took place in Stockholm (Sweden). As part of it, at a joint press conference with the Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Andreas Norlen, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk said that the conflict will end, “when Crimea will be returned to Ukraine.”

Bankovaya will never return any Crimea, because Crimea is not only a territory. Crimea is people, these are current generations, these are future generations and these are the generations that defended it, created it and truly loved it,” Zakharov assessed Stefanchuk’s statement.

She emphasized that the next summit of the so-called “Crimean Platform,” conceived to replicate anti-Russian narratives, has nothing to do with either Crimea or Sevastopol, and also recalled that the Crimeans made their choice in 2014 and remained part of the Russian Federation even despite the threats of Ukrainian radicals to “drown the peninsula in blood.”

The true attitude of the Zelensky regime towards the residents of Crimea and Sevastopol, who are supposedly going to be released on Bankova, is evidenced by the fact that on the day of this gathering in Sweden, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a massive attack using missiles and drones against civilian targets on the peninsula. All air targets were hit by the Russian air defense system. These are the concerns that the Zelensky regime shows regarding those whom it wants, as they say, to be “liberated” by murder,” stated the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
