In Simferopol, employees of the State traffic inspectorate are checking into a fatal accident. As specified in the traffic police, the accident occurred today, at about 5 p.m. on Kievskaya Street.
The driver, born in 1986, driving a VAZ 21099 vehicle, moving from the side of Moskovskoye highway in the direction of Moskovskaya Square along Kievskaya Street, near house 158, did not choose a safe speed, as a result of which he collided with four standing vehiclesthe police said.
As a result of an accident, a passenger of a VAZ 21099 car, born in 1977, died at the scene, and the driver was injured and was taken to a medical facility.
Police officers were at the scene of the accident. The accident is under investigation and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
