May frosts in Crimea are a reality. The Ministry of Emergency Situations issued a storm warning

And again a storm warning (how many there have been in the last two weeks!) from the Ministry of Emergency Situations about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in the Crimea. This time we are not talking about showers and flooding, but … about frosts.
According to the Crimean Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, frosts of up to -2 degrees are expected on the soil surface at night and in the morning of May 3 in the steppe and foothill regions of Crimea.
Under these conditions, there is a high probability of emergency situations and incidents associated with damage and death of crops, possible damage to flowering and blossoming buds of early stone fruit crops.— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Rescuers recommend to observe safety measures:
— take measures to protect plantings;
— to protect plants from frost, cover them with a polymer film, non-woven material (spunbond), straw;
— in conditions of lowering the temperature, refrain from long trips to the mountain-forest area;
— drivers of motor vehicles, to be extremely careful on the road, not to exceed the speed limit and strictly observe the rules of the road.
