Medical rehabilitation service is developing in Crimea
Issues of developing the medical rehabilitation system in the republic were discussed at a visiting meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea in Yevpatoria.
According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Alexey Natarov, today rehabilitation is available in medical organizations in Crimea for patients after injuries, operations and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, musculoskeletal and central nervous systems, as well as for patients with various somatic diseases. At the moment, the network of specialized departments includes 10 round-the-clock hospitals, 4 day hospitals and 8 outpatient departments.
Thanks to the retrofitting of modern equipment, the Republican Clinical Hospital named after. N.A. Semashko also provides high-tech medical care — neurorehabilitation after stroke and traumatic brain injury in cases of impaired motor and cognitive functions.
Particular attention is paid to the rehabilitation of demobilized participants in a special military operation. Veterans receive inpatient care primarily at the Saki Specialized Medical Rehabilitation Hospital and the Crimean Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans.
According to the regional program “Optimal medical rehabilitation for restoring health,” further systematic development of the medical rehabilitation service in Crimea is provided. Thus, it is planned to open new specialized departments in medical organizations in Evpatoria, Kerch, Feodosia, Bakhchisaraysky, Leninsky, Razdolnensky and Krasnogvardeysky districtssaid the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health.
As part of the national project “Long and Active Life,” this year it is planned to continue equipping the specialized departments of the Simferopol City Clinical Hospital No. 7 and the Kerch Hospital No. 1 named after. N.I. Pirogov — 22 units of modern equipment will be purchased with a total cost of more than 28 million rubles.
Expanding the network of departments and purchasing modern equipment makes it possible to improve the availability of medical rehabilitation for Crimeans. The main objective of the work being carried out is to provide conditions for high-quality restoration of the health of patients directly in their places of residence.,” noted Alexey Natarov.
