Mikhail Razvozhaev and Sergey Kravtsov visited school and kindergarten, repaired under the presidential program

The Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov arrived in Sevastopol on a working visit. The city governor Mikhail Podvozhaev, along with the Minister, visited kindergarten No. 27 and gymnasium No. 10 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Efimov Miron Efimovich. Both educational institutions this year were ahead of schedule under the presidential program.

The building of the kindergarten No. 27 on Khruleva Street, 16 was built in 1961; The institution is designed for five groups, including nursery. In the course of the work, the foundation, base, a blind area, roof, entrance group, stairs and porch, facades, engineering networks, including external ones, were performed, finished work were repaired. During the improvement of the territory, external engineering networks were replaced, playing and sports grounds, a fence, and outdoor lighting were replaced. The kindergarten was equipped with furniture, food equipment, sports equipment, toys, and teaching aids.

The governor thanked the Ministry of Education for support in the issue of overhaul of preschool institutions and outlined the prospect:

We repaired kindergartens under the presidential program for the first time. Thanks to the assistance of the Ministry of Education last year, they received funds for the repair of kindergartens No. 27 and No. 13, carried out all the necessary work, and in September the guys came to classes already in updated buildings. The Minister of Education noted the high quality of the overhaul:

As a result of major repairs, almost new kindergarten and a school in Sevastopol were obtained. Spacious rooms, all the necessary equipment, medical rooms, sports blocks are equipped here. It is very important that attention is paid to the improvement of the territory. I am sure that many families were waiting for this. Children here are comfortable and interesting what will affect the quality of education. According to the presidential major repairs program in Sevastopol, education objects are actively modernized. From this year, it became possible to carry out work, including in kindergartens and colleges— notes the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

Then the head of the city and the head of the department visited the gymnasium No. 10 on Victory Avenue, 30 after the overhaul on September 1, the educational process resumed here. In the course of the work, the main building and workshop building were completely updated, and experts also performed overhaul of external networks and the improvement of the adjacent territory, during which an obstacle course was installed and a platform for the extended day group was equipped. For the school, furniture, computer and interactive equipment, food equipment, sports equipment and inventory, equipment of physics and the foundations of safety and the protection of the homeland were purchased.

Mikhail Razvozhaev noted an integrated approach to the overhaul of educational institutions in Sevastopol:

Traditionally, we try to carry out comprehensive repairs. Of course, the main thing is the core that is allocated from the federal budget at the expense of the Ministry of Education. For our part, taking into account the priority tasks indicated by the President, we try to find funds to update the infrastructure: improvement of the adjacent territory, repair of engineering networks, and so on— said the head of the city.

During the overhaul in the gymnasium, the tradition of nominal cabinets was born. All offices of the Russian language and literature, as well as mathematicians, wear the names of writers and scientists: Alexander Pushkin, Nikolai Gogol, Ivan Turgenev, Anton Chekhov, Fedor Dostoevsky, the famous Sofia Kovalevskaya, Mikhail Lomonosov, Nikolai Zhukovsky, Nikolai Lobachevsky and other outstanding figures.

The governor handed the Minister as a keepsake of the diary of the Sevastopol schoolboy. This year he is dedicated to the defenders of Sevastopol — from famous figures of the time of the first defense of the city to the heroes of a special military operation. Sergei Kravtsov noted that such a successful practice can be introduced at the federal level. He emphasized that for the patriotic education of schoolchildren it is important that the guys know the heroes of their country.

During the bilateral meeting, the governor and the Minister discussed the development of the education system, including the provision of 5-11 classes with new history textbooks and the implementation of the Professor program in Sevastopol.

I want to thank you for the work that is under the development of the Sevastopol Education System. A unique system of patriotic education has been created. The city has opened a wonderful museum-guard complex «New Chersonesos». It is important that this is not just a tourist location, but also a large educational center where schoolchildren come— emphasizes Sergey Kravtsov.
