Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea will cooperate with Dagestan

Within the framework of the XXIII Russian exhibition of breeding sheep and goats, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk. The event takes place from 16 to 19 May in the city of Kaspiysk.
During the event, with the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, Mukhtarbiy Adzhekov, we discussed the interaction of our departments, as well as joint effective and fruitful cooperation in the development of agricultural policy, processing industry, and rural areas. Within the framework of the agreement, we will help farmers of the two regions to implement joint investment projects, cooperation programs aimed at developing the agro-industrial complex, establish and expand business contacts between them, resolve issues of logistics for the agro-industrial complex, mutual supplies of agricultural products, raw materials and food, and much more.— quotes the press service of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk.
The head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also said that an extensive business program awaits the participants of the exhibition within three days. Within the framework of the scientific-practical conference, round tables, plenary meetings and practical seminars, representatives of specialized farms, business communities, science, processing enterprises and agro-industrial complex authorities of the constituent entities of Russia will discuss the supply of high-quality mutton to the domestic and foreign markets, production, processing and sale of wool for the textile industry in Russia and abroad. Proposals of scientific institutions, enterprises, organizations and firms on animal feeding technology and processing of sheep and goat products will also be presented.
On the territory of the largest stadium in this republic, the Anji Arena, there is an exhibition at which about 80 leading breeding farms from different regions of Russia demonstrate breeds of breeding sheep and goats bred by domestic scientists as a result of selection and breeding work. Here are such breeds as: Stavropol, Soviet and Manych Merino, Nubian and many others, as well as foreign breeds: Dorper, Oxford Down, Merinoland. Traditionally, within the framework of the exhibition, a competition will be held for the best indicators in the development of pedigree sheep and goat breeding. The list of exhibition awards includes diplomas, certificates, cups, medals, certificates, prizes and Grand Prix— Andrey Savchuk emphasizes.
