More than 300 kilograms of fish were seized from the markets of Feodosia — it was without veterinary documents

In the markets of Feodosia, specialists from the state budgetary institution of the Republic of Crimea “Feodosia City Veterinary Laboratory” removed from circulation more than 300 kilograms of fish products that were on sale without the necessary veterinary accompanying documents.

According to the institution, the entire batch of fish was destroyed at the initiative of the owner of the goods after veterinary and sanitary control.

Representatives of the veterinary service held explanatory conversations with sellers about the inadmissibility of selling and storing products of animal origin without labeling and supporting veterinary documents, emphasizing that such violations pose a risk to the health of consumers.
