More than 34.4 thousand families in Sevastopol received a certificate for maternity family capital

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Since 2015, when the state program to support families with children was launched, more than 34.4 thousand Sevastopol families in our city have received a certificate for maternity family capital (MSK).

The owner of the anniversary certificate (34,000th) was a family from the village of Sakharnaya Lolovka, in which a second child was born in February 2023. Maternity capital was issued to parents in an increased amount of 775.6 thousand rubles. This amount is due if the second child has appeared in the family since 2020. The Sevastopol branch of the Social Fund of Russia proactively issued a certificate to the child’s parents using the data received from the registry office on birth. As a result, the family did not have to apply to the Social Fund’s client service with documents and confirm their right to funds. Parents also did not have to go for the certificate itself, since it was issued electronically. A digital document with all the necessary data entered the personal account of the child’s mother. Now the family can remotely manage capital for selected purposes through the “Gosuslugi” and control the balance of funds— noted in the press service of the department.

Recall that the first maternity capital certificate in Sevastopol was issued in February 2015. Then the amount of state support for families with two children was 453,026 rubles. Today, this amount has grown to 775,628 rubles. In addition, maternity capital is now given not only for the second, but also for the first child born or adopted starting from 2020. The amount of state support for families with one child since February this year is 586,947 rubles.
