More than 62 thousand students in Sevastopol use an electronic diary
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The regional information system “Digital Educational Environment of Sevastopol” is a performance recording system for schools and colleges, which is used daily by the administrations of educational institutions.
Login to the RIS TsOSS is carried out exclusively using the “Government Services” portal. The popularity of the services provided by the system is evidenced by the number of requests: about 12 million to the electronic diary and more than 1 million to the electronic journal. 77 educational organizations in Sevastopol, including colleges and private schools, are connected to the system— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the department — head of the department of digital development, Angelina Burovtsova.
The system is designed to:
- speed up the processing of applications for first grade and colleges through the State Services portal;
- reduce the burden on schools by automating student records and reporting;
- increase the efficiency of education management using digital technologies.
One of the main advantages of the system is that parents have access to information about their child’s grades, homework, schedule and portfolio online. Additionally, users can communicate with teachers via built-in chat.
All this, as well as digital content, is combined into a single system, and is also available in the mobile applications “TSOSS.Dnevnik” and “TSOSS.Journal”.
To ensure that participants in the educational process can receive verified digital content, the RIS TsOSS is integrated with the federal system “My School”.
