More than 9,000 Sevastopol residents restricted from traveling outside the country due to debts

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Despite the current situation and the cessation of flights with a number of countries, the restriction on the right to leave Russia still remains one of the effective enforcement measures. To date, more than 9 thousand residents of Sevastopol are restricted in their right to leave due to debts.

In order not to overshadow your vacation abroad, business trip or visiting relatives outside the Russian Federation with unpleasant surprises at the border, the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service for Sevastopol recommends citizens to plan their trip in advance. And this must be done not from the purchase of a tourist voucher or a plane or train ticket, but from checking the presence of debts, because only full payment of the debt can be a guarantee of unhindered travel abroad , the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia notes. Sevastopol.

We remind you that the threshold of the amount at which the bailiff makes a restriction on leaving the Russian Federation starts from thousand rubles. However, this rule does not apply to persons who have debts for alimony, for compensation for harm to health, damage in connection with the death of the breadwinner, compensation for moral damage and property damage. For such categories of enforcement proceedings, the threshold amount of debt for restriction is thousand rubles. In addition, a restriction on the right to leave the country will be established with a debt of thousand rubles, if a citizen does not pay bills or does not comply with a non-property court decision within 2- x months after initiation of enforcement proceedings.

You also need to remember that paying the debt at the airport and immediately crossing the border will not work. It takes at least a day to lift the temporary restriction on leaving the country. On the official website of the enforcement authority (r.fssp.gov.ru) there is a convenient electronic service “Data Bank enforcement proceedings «, with the help of which you can find out about existing debts and pay them without leaving your home.

For 6 months of the current year, due to the application of this restriction, about 46 million rubles of various types of debts were collected.
