More than a hectare of dry vegetation burnt out in Crimea over the past day

The Ministry of Emergency Situations again draws attention to the increased number of «natural fires» in the Crimea. Over the past day, two fires of dry vegetation were extinguished.

At 13:19, the control panel of the operational duty officer of the GKU RK «Fire Guard of the Republic of Crimea» received information about the fire of dry vegetation and a wooden power line pole in the village. Postal (Bakhchisaray district). The help of lifeguards is required.

Upon arrival, firefighters found that dry grass and a wooden power line pole were burning in an open area outside the village. There is a threat of fire spreading to nearby residential buildings. Fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire with the help of Yeomak firefighting backpacks and firecrackers. The fire area was 200 square meters. There were no casualties. Reasons are being investigated— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
