We note an active recovery in demand for mortgage lending in Crimea compared to last year, — says Nikolai Bilan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the RNKB. — The growth in mortgage issuance became possible due to timely measures taken by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as active interaction with partners of the RNCB.
Interestingly, about 30% of mortgage loans in the RNKB are issued by residents of the Russian mainland, while many use the opportunity to purchase an apartment on a mortgage without visiting the peninsula using a completely remote transaction. As part of such transactions, the RNCB has already issued more than 750 million rubles for the purchase of housing in the Crimea.
