Mother and son went on trial in Sevastopol — they are accused of fraud with someone else’s apartment

The prosecutor’s office of the Nakhimovsky district of Sevastopol sent a criminal case against a 31-year-old man and his 61-year-old mother. They are accused under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud on an especially large scale).

According to investigators, the accused entered the trust of a pensioner born in 1941, who was the owner of a three -room apartment on the street. Serafimovich in Sevastopol. Due to a combination of circumstances, the woman lived alone. Attackers began to help her with the purchase of food. The accused often visited her, drank alcohol with her and remained at her to spend the night.

In 2019, using trust, old age and poor state of health of a woman, the attackers convinced her to sign a number of documents. She thought she would make a testament in the name of her granddaughter. In fact, not knowing that the pensioner signed a will and the agreement on the sale of her apartment in favor of the accused, as well as a fictitious receipt on receiving money under this agreement. On the basis of these documents in December 2019, the ownership right was re -registered to the accused, and then the accomplices began in court to seek the eviction of the victim,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the prosecutor’s office of Sevastopol.

The investigation in the criminal case was carried out by the Investigative Department in the Nakhimovsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the Main Directorate of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

The criminal case with the approved prosecutor’s office was sent to the Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits. Since the accused are on the international wanted list, the criminal case will be considered in absentia.

Earlier, in the lawsuit satisfied by the court, the apartment prosecutor’s apartment was returned to the legal owner.
