National cultures are being revived, popularized and developed in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
As Sergey Aksyonov noted, in Crimea, over the past ten years, two institutions have been working on the revival, popularization and development of national cultures: the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “House of Friendship of Peoples” and the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Media Center named after Ismail Gasprinsky”.
The House of Friendship of Peoples provides great methodological and practical assistance to national-cultural autonomies, leaders of national creative groups, representatives of public organizations of the republic; more than 1,200 events of an ethnocultural nature were held, in which tens of thousands of people took part– shared the Head of Crimea.
In turn, the Ismail Gasprinsky Media Center makes a significant contribution to the formation of a fund of national literature. “The institution publishes books and printed media in Russian, Crimean Tatar, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek, Armenian and German. Over the past years, about 300 books on interethnic and military-patriotic themes have been published with a total circulation of about 110 thousand copies,” said the Head of the Republic.
Sergei Aksenov noted that the Federal Agency for National Affairs and the State Committee for Interethnic Relations of the Republic of Crimea provide active support in this.
Interethnic harmony, preservation of moral values and patriotic traditions are the key to civil peace, stable and consistent development of the republic. Work in this direction will continue, — concluded the Head of Crimea.
