On April 7, a reporting and election conference of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups took place. The event became the key event of the year for the volunteer and labor movement of the republic, bringing together delegates and activists to sum up the results of activities and re-election of the leadership team.
During the conference, participants analyzed the results of implemented projects and discussed current challenges facing the organization. The most important stage of the meeting was the formation of a renewed composition of the regional headquarters, which will oversee the development of the movement in the coming years. According to the voting results, Maria Nekrasova was elected head of the Crimean regional branch of the RSO, and Karina Gayanova took the post of deputy head. Alina Vayman, who headed the block of teenage labor groups, will now be responsible for the development of an important area of work with student youth.
It is a great honor and serious responsibility for me to lead the student teams of the Republic of Crimea. In recent years, our movement on the peninsula has become a powerful force uniting thousands of active children. Our main goal for the coming period is not only to maintain the momentum, but also to expand our horizons: strengthen interaction with key employers in Crimea, improve the quality of professional training for fighters and pay special attention to the development of teenage labor groups. I am sure that with the updated staff we will be able to implement the most ambitious projects and make work cool and prestigious for every student of the republic,” noted Maria Nekrasova, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups.
The plans of the new leadership for the coming year include increasing the number of specialized units, developing a mentoring system and strengthening the position of Crimean fighters in all-Russian labor projects.
