New magnetic storms will hit the Earth

Tomorrow the first disturbances from the surge in solar activity that began a few days ago should begin to arrive on Earth. At the same time, despite the exceptionally high level of active processes, magnetic storms are still expected to be weakscientists predict.

The reason, according to their data, is that the centers of solar activity only recently entered the zone of influence on the Earth and the bulk of plasma emissions will pass by the planet. At the same time, the Laboratory believes that active centers will remain in the zone of maximum risks for the Earth for about three more days.

The highest class X flare occurred on the Sun Tuesday evening. The day before, an explosion of the maximum class was also recorded on the surface of the star; its power was X8.11previously reported at the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
