New multifunctional modular sports hall opened in Yalta

On Saturday, 01 January, a new modular gym was opened in Yalta on Kalinnikova, 12 (Youth Center for Physical Education and Sports). According to the head of the administration of Yalta, Yanina Pavlenko, the installation of the module in 300 sq. meters from the municipal budget allocated 43 million rubles. The gym was built in a few months.

At the same time, it will be able to accommodate up to 300 people and will be used both for training and for events in various sports, including including the All-Russian level.

Last year they opened a hall for gymnasts, today it is a universal hall, in which wrestlers will mainly train. The first competition in the new gym was the tournament in memory of the sambo and judo coach, master of sports of the USSR, honored worker of physical culture and sports of the Republic of Crimea, honorary teacher of Russia, honorary citizen of Yalta Ivan Sergeevich Pavlenko. This hall gathered 16 guys who continue the work of their mentor already in such excellent conditions.
