October 21: Sevastopol residents can contact public inspectors of the State Housing Supervision Service

CrimeaPRESS reports:

On October 21, the next reception of citizens by public inspectors of the State Housing Supervision Service will take place in Sevastopol. Residents will have the opportunity to personally discuss current issues related to housing and communal services and receive qualified, including legal assistance in resolving them.

The reception will take place from 11:00 to 13:00 at the address: General Kolomiyets Street, building 5. To participate, you must pre-register by phone +7 (978) 805-93-53. Registration is available from 10:00 to 18:00.

Public inspectors of Goszhilnadzor act as intermediaries between residents and management organizations, helping to protect the rights of property owners and tenants. Their work is aimed at ensuring compliance with housing legislation, monitoring the quality of utilities and the maintenance of common property in apartment buildings.

At the reception, specialists will advise on issues of managing the house, organizing general meetings of owners, and also explain the procedure for carrying out reconstruction and redevelopment of residential premises.

Sevastopol residents can submit complaints and requests on topics ranging from poor-quality water supply or heating to unreasonable charges in receipts and problems with landscaping the local area. Attention is also paid to the activities of management companies, homeowners’ associations and housing cooperatives — inspectors will help to understand the legality of their actions and, if necessary, help draw up appeals to supervisory authorities.

Such meetings are becoming an important tool for feedback between residents and regulatory structures, which help increase transparency and efficiency in the housing and communal services sector of Sevastopol.
