Officially: in Sevastopol, polling stations are ready for voting

From September 12 to September 14, 2025, the election of the city governor will be held in Sevastopol. At the same time, municipal campaigns will be held for the election of deputies of councils of the Gagarinsky and Lenin municipalities. The director of the internal policy department, Sergei Blessolny, said this at the chairmanship of the governor of Sevastopol, chaired by Governor Mikhail Podvozhaev. By the decision of the Sevastopol City Election Commission, to ensure additional security, early voting is provided.

Early voting will take place from September 3 to 11. Electors who want to vote at home will be able to apply to the election commission. All necessary contacts are posted on official resources. At the same time, from tomorrow it will already be possible to vote in polling stations,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol as the director of the internal policy department of Sergei Lisodal.

The city is being implemented in the information «information». Within its framework, representatives of the election commissions personally inform Sevastopolites about the terms, place and methods of voting.

In the first wave of informing, from August 18 to 24, 702 of the crawler informed more than 75% of voters. The second wave started on September 1 and will last until September 7th. No attempts at fraud or collection of personal data have been recorded. This is a pure informing about when and where you can vote. Each informant has a badge, certificate and recognizable clothes— said Sergey Lineless.

The preparation and conduct of the campaign will be ensured by the Sevastopol City Electoral Commission, 4 territorial and 188 precinct election commissions, including one special plot in the city hospital No. 1. Extraritory polling stations for military personnel and 14 plots in Moscow were also created for Sevastopol residents who are there on voting days.

Residents will be available: voting at home (at the request until September 14, 14:00), voting at the location (“mobile voter”, application until September 8), remote electronic vote (application through “State Services” until September 8).

Sevastopol is the only subject where in all 187 polling stations in 100% of cases, electrical processing complexes are used. In addition, special stencils, lups, tiflomarkers have been prepared for people with disabilities, as well as volunteers, ”the head of the relevant department emphasized.

All polling stations are equipped with shelters or have them within walking distance. All members of the election commissions are instructed about actions in the event of an alarm.

All premises are examined by working groups with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB, the Russian Guard and the structural units of the Sevastopol government. Polling stations are provided with metal detectors and reserve energy supply. On all polling stations, video cameras are installed to fix the voting process and storage of ballots. In addition, on behalf of the governor, an operational headquarters was created to respond— said Sergey Lineless.

The city will also work in the city. The tasks of the headquarters are monitoring the honesty and transparency of the elections, the preparation of independent observers, as well as counteracting fakes and attempts to discredit the electoral system.
