On April 3 and 4, Crimea will be covered by a cyclone — with rain and thunderstorms

An emergency warning has been issued in Crimea due to an approaching thunderstorm. This was reported in the republican headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

On April 3 and 4, due to the passage of the Mediterranean cyclone in Crimea, heavy rains are expected in the southern, central and eastern regions. Thunderstorms, strengthening southwestern winds changing to northwesterly 15-20 m/sthe message says.

Residents and guests are advised to exclude access to mountainous and forested areas, to stay away from embankments and bank protection structures; overhead power lines, electric transport contact networks and large trees.

Drivers must be extremely careful on the road, do not exceed the speed limit and strictly follow traffic rules. Pedestrians should be especially careful when crossing the road, the department urges.
