One of the gas stations in Crimea “competed unfairly.” FAS got involved in the process
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Crimean interregional OFAS Russia issued a warning to one of the Crimean gas station chains about violation of antimonopoly legislation. This was reported in the press service of the department.
The reason for the warning was an inspection of the company’s official website, during which signs of unfair competition, namely misleading consumers, were revealed.
We are talking about Blue Shelby fuel; the publications contained unconfirmed claims about the premium characteristics of the fuel, such as “financial benefits of up to 7.3%,” “saving up to 3 liters per fill-up” and “improving acceleration dynamics by up to 1.5 seconds.”,” the department explained.
It is noted that this information was not supported by objective evidence and research, and this could mislead potential buyers and create unjustified advantages for the company in the market.
The company has now eliminated the violation, the FAS specified.
