Opinion: Crimeans live in peace and harmony thanks to decisions made by the President of Russia

The spiritual leaders of traditional confessions also play an important role in maintaining unity.

The vast majority of Crimeans support the decisions made by the President of Russia; the enemy will not be able to set people against each other. This was stated by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in the program «Main Interview» on the air of the TV channel «Millet».

Answering a question about the changes in the approach to interethnic politics since the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Sergey Aksyonov stressed that today the Crimeans live in peace and harmony thanks to the decisions taken by President Vladimir Putin.

The spiritual leaders of confessions and public organizations also play an important role in maintaining unity. There are no acute problems that could divide society along ethnic lines. Of course, everyone has their own attitude to all the ongoing processes in Crimea and the country. However, the vast majority of Crimeans support the decisions made by our Leader. The enemy will not succeed in setting our people against each other— said the Head of the Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov also added that an important tool for maintaining interethnic peace in Crimea is that the leaders of various faiths show respect for each other by their own example.
