Opinion: in Crimea it is necessary to increase the number of rehabilitation and health centers for air defense soldiers
Health improvement and rehabilitation in the health resorts of Crimea for fighters of the Northern Military District were discussed within the framework of the II Interregional Congress of wives and mothers of participants of the Northern Military District “Bereginya”. On the radio about problems and their solutions in this area «Sputnik in Crimea» Vladislav Burya, an expert on the strategic development of resorts and sanatoriums, said.
The organizer of the congress was the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. More than 250 participants from 30 regions of Russia were present there. There were representatives of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea and the State Council of the Republic. Among the participants are well-known in Crimea and beyond, rehabilitation therapists, psychotherapists and specialists in various fields of health, including volunteershe said.
According to the expert, the event discussed issues not only of rehabilitation and health improvement, but also of volunteering, business for SVO participants, etc. The main problems in this area for this period were also identified.
The first is routing, directing SVO participants for recovery. The wives and mothers of SVO participants said that they lack information on where fighters can get a quality recovery, despite the large number of sanatoriums,” noted Vladislav Burya.
Also, in his opinion, today full-fledged rehabilitation in sanatorium-resort institutions of Crimea is impossible due to the lack of specialized equipment and, most importantly, multidisciplinary teams. The solution, according to the expert, would be to create several separate rehabilitation centers specializing exclusively in helping air force fighters.
The number of such centers needs to be increased. Possibly on the basis of existing sanatoriums. For example, one of the Evpatoria sanatoriums did this: they are breeding flows of commercial people and children from the northwestern district. That is, he recruits a group of SVO participants — he completely closes the sanatorium, and the guys are rehabilitatedsaid the speaker.
And he noted that Crimea needs to increase the number of such centers, and the issue is routing and financial support, as well as the purchase of special rehabilitation equipment.
“I believe that the Republic of Crimea definitely now has every chance to move in this direction to become a flagship for the rehabilitation of North Military District fighters, because we have unique natural healing factors and already have accumulated experience in local rehabilitation centers,” the interlocutor concluded.
