Over 100,000 self-employed citizens registered in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Crimea, the number of officially registered self-employed exceeded 100,000 people. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko.
The total income of the self-employed since the beginning of the tax regime is more than 18.9 billion rubles. The top five most popular types of activities indicated by the self-employed at registration were passenger and cargo transportation, property rental, and the provision of manicure and pedicure services.— said Irina Kiviko.
The tax on professional income in the Republic came into force on July 1, 2020.
The Government of the Republic of Crimea and business support institutions have a comprehensive approach to the issue of developing support for payers on professional income. Now there are several areas of support for them: consulting, educational, financial, property, information, as well as project promotion services. We will continue to create comfortable conditions for start-up entrepreneurs, for their growth and development to a successful, stable business— said Irina Kiviko.
Recall that when paying with individuals, the self-employed pay 4% of income, with organizations — 6%. Tax is charged only on those transactions that are carried out in the mobile application. At the end of the month, the amount of tax will be formed, which must be paid by the 25th day of the next month. The self-employed do not submit declarations to the tax authorities, voluntarily pay insurance premiums, and can also combine self-employment with official employment.
Self-employed people can also seek advice on doing business and available support measures within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” at the My Business Center.
