Participants in the public recognition award “NO BARRIERS” demonstrate what fortitude means — Sergey Aksyonov

The ceremony was traditionally held at the State Academic Musical Theater of the Republic of Crimea and was accompanied by a concert program.

Addressing the participants and guests of the ceremony, Sergei Aksyonov emphasized the importance of the “NO BARRIERS” project, which unites representatives of government authorities and the public, entrepreneurs, volunteers and many others.

This social project is about those and for those who make efforts, who believe in themselves and do not stop halfway. The participants of the competition show by their example what fortitude, perseverance, patience and perseverance mean. In fact, everyone here is a winner. And the children, and their parents, and their teachers and mentors. All caring people. Of course, the competition provides an opportunity to express oneself, but, more importantly, it helps to understand that the guys are not alone. And our desire and readiness to support our neighbor, as the Head of State has repeatedly noted, is what contributes to social development. It is such a caring society that can move forward,” noted the Head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov recalled that the authorities will always provide the necessary assistance to all children and adolescents with disabilities.

In 2025, 296 applications were submitted for participation in the competition, and 37 contestants became laureates. Sergey Aksyonov awarded the winners with cups and valuable prizes, and also expressed special gratitude to the organizers of the competition.

Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Interregional Public Organization “Russian Unity” Elena Aksyonova also addressed those present in the hall with welcoming words and congratulations.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea Albert Kurshutov, representatives of ministries and departments, the public and the clergy.

REFERENCE. The annual competition for the public recognition award “NO BARRIERS” is held under the patronage of the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov with the aim of stimulating the development of creative, sports and intellectual activity of children and youth with disabilities. Since 2014, about 1,900 people have become participants, more than 350 of them are laureates.
