«Passed» an internship — now on trial. Theft from a store in Sevastopol
A 42-year-old individual entrepreneur turned to the duty unit of the Russian MIA Department for the Gagarinsky District with a statement that funds had been stolen from her store.
The police found that a 20-year-old local resident was involved in the theft, who was an intern at the position of a seller in a grocery store and was aware of where the proceeds were stored. Taking advantage of the opportunity and the absence of witnesses, the girl secretly opened the safe, stole 25 thousand rubles from it and disappeared. She spent the stolen money on her own needs and entertainment. As a result of operational-search activities, the criminal investigation officers detained the suspect— noted in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.
A criminal case was initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft», she faces up to five years in prison.
