Perinatal center in Simferopol: 3,654 children were born in 2025

In 2025, 3,654 children were born at the center, including 548 babies with extremely low body weight. The smallest weight of a premature baby — a girl — was 479 grams. In three months of this year, 904 children have already been born here, 118 of which are with extremely low body weight.

Sergey Aksyonov expressed deep gratitude to the management and employees of the medical organization for their dedicated work, high professionalism and concern.

Many thanks to the entire team of the perinatal center! – said the Head of the Republic and presented well-deserved awards to the best specialists of the institution.

Sergei Aksyonov also emphasized that the authorities will continue to provide medical organizations with all possible support, including the acquisition of the required equipment and technology. Thus, just last year, as part of the national project “Family,” the center received 266 units of modern devices to provide assistance to pregnant women, women in labor, newborns and patients with gynecological diseases.

In turn, the head of the perinatal center Denis Kondratyuk thanked the Head of the Republic of Crimea and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea for their constant assistance, thanks to which the institution purchased critical equipment primarily to help premature babies, which ultimately is successfully reflected in statistical indicators.

In addition, Sergey Aksenov met with young mothers and presented them with sets of baby supplies for newborns.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea Alexey Natarov, chief physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko Igor Chemodanov.
