Personnel center helps residents of Sevastopol with disabilities find work

Eight years ago, Vyacheslav Faulgaber’s life changed after a serious injury. He lost his lower limbs and received group 1 disability. The recovery period was not easy, but it was then that swimming appeared in his life — first as a way of rehabilitation, and then as a serious sport. Today Vyacheslav is a member of the Sevastopol swimming team among athletes with musculoskeletal disorders.

In addition to sports, it was important for Vyacheslav to maintain professional fulfillment and a stable income for his family. Before the injury, he received a trade and economic education, worked in trade and had experience in other professions. The independent search for a suitable vacancy turned out to be difficult, and then Vyacheslav turned to the Personnel Center “Russia Work” in Sevastopol.

They listened to me carefully, helped me register on the Work in Russia portal, and discussed my capabilities and expectations in detail. Natalya Strelnikova became my career consultant — she accompanied me throughout the entire search and helped me choose the right optionsays Vyacheslav.

A suitable vacancy was found at the Packaging and Design Center company. The employer offered a remote format and flexible schedule.

We are interested in professional employees and are ready to create comfortable working conditions. With the assistance of the Personnel Center, our company received a subsidy for partial reimbursement of wage costs. This is tangible support for business and an opportunity to more confidently make decisions about employing a person with a disability, — said Yuri Peftiev, General Director of the Packaging and Design Center company.

Today Vyacheslav works in the marketing team: takes calls, advises clients, prepares commercial proposals, transfers applications to managers and maintains reports. Colleagues helped me quickly adapt and master work programs.
