The FIU in Sevastopol notes: the indexation of social pensions is carried out annually on April 1, taking into account the growth rate of the pensioner’s subsistence minimum over the past year. In 2022 it was 8.6%.
The indexation of social pensions in 2022 year was planned at the level of 7.7%, that is, as the ratio of the pensioner’s subsistence minimum for 2021 year to the same value for 2020 year. Taking into account the decisions of the President adopted in the 2021 year on indexing the subsistence minimum and insurance pensions by 8.6%, social pensions from April 1 2022 years are also indexed by 8.6% , — reported in the press service of the department.
For indexation from the federal budget sent , 7 billion rubles. In total, indexation will affect about 4 million citizens (including 6.1 thousand Sevastopol residents) — these are recipients of social pensions and state pensions.
Recall that recipients of social pensions are citizens who, due to various circumstances, do not have enough work experience to receive an insurance pension. In particular, these are:
- disabled people of groups I, II, III, including disabled since childhood, disabled children;
children who have lost one or both parents, and children of a deceased single mother before years and up to 23 years, if they study full-time in educational institutions;
children whose parents are unknown;
