The exhibition is timed to coincide with the Day of Fire Protection.
The photo exhibition «Heroes Among Us» dedicated to the Day of Fire Protection of the Russian Federation has opened in the Gagarinsky Park of Simferopol.
The exposition includes 10 stands, which display the main aspects of the activities of the Crimean team of firefighters. Here you can see the stages of the formation of the fire department in the Crimea, get acquainted with some interesting facts about the activities of firefighters, see the faces of real heroes — firefighters who showed courage in emergency situations.
In addition, the exhibition presents the works of children — winners in the drawing competition «My dad is a fireman.»
The photo exhibition was opened today by the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Sadakliev.
The purpose of today’s event is to show the citizens our work, our guys. We tried to personally show our heroes, firefighters who showed real heroism in critical situations. On the stands there are 9 heroes from among the personnel of the GKU RK «Fire Guard of the Republic of Crimea». Their stories are not made up, and each one is a story about the risks rescuers face on a daily basis.— said Sergey Sadakliev.
The open-air exhibition will run until May 5.
