Photographs from the Bank of Russia will tell about “Stories of Victory” — an exhibition on the square. Nakhimov in Sevastopol

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation, together with the Department of Finance of the city of Sevastopol, is holding the exhibition “Stories of Victory”. The exhibition consists of enlarged high-quality photographic images of domestic commemorative coins dedicated to the significant events of the Great Patriotic War.
Under each photo panel there is a description of the coin with its characteristics, the history of the image and a statement of the artistic intent of the authors.
One of the features of our exhibition is that it is presented in an open area, in one of the key points of attraction for Sevastopol residents and guests of the hero city — on Primorsky Boulevard— the press service of the acting director quotes. Manager of the Sevastopol Branch of the Bank of Russia Vitaly Sidorenko. — We hope that the new format of the exhibition will help not only to look at the history of domestic medal art from a new angle, but also to preserve the memory of the great feat of our people.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on November 1 at 11.00 at the address: Sevastopol, ave. Nakhimova, 4 (observation deck at the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity).
