Crimea is among the ten regions of Russia with the lowest salaries in the province, RIA Novosti Crimea reports, citing the agency’s research.
The rating is based on the ratio of the average salary in small and medium-sized settlements in the region to the cost of a standard set of goods and services. This method allows you to assess the real purchasing power of the province’s residents.
According to the results of the study, the ranking was topped by the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. In 2025, in the outback, the net average salary (excluding personal income tax) was 151 thousand rubles per month, which allows for the purchase of 5.56 sets of goods and services.
At the same time, the Republic of Crimea was in 73rd place. The average monthly salary in the region can buy 2.22 sets of goods and services.
Overall, the study showed that in 2025, across the country, the ratio of the average provincial salary to the cost of a fixed set of goods and services was 2.8.
