November is World Orphan Day. A project to help orphans with incurable diseases launched the Crimean Children’s Hospice. He pays for the work of nannies for orphans who are in a specialized department of palliative care for children. The department is a joint project of the hospice and the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital.
We called our project «Instead of Mom». Usually in the hospital, children are under the supervision of their parents. But orphans don’t have mothers. Therefore, our nannies take care of them. They provide round-the-clock supervision and care in the department, change diapers, feed — they do everything that mothers usually do , — said Anna Ryzhkova, Executive Director of the Crimean Children’s Hospice. — Pays for hospice babysitters. 1 hour of care costs 145 rubles. Everyone can join in helping children who are seriously ill and left without motherly love.
