Projects for the exhibition concept of the new museum space of the Livadia Palace Museum were presented in Crimea
The Livadia Palace is a special, historically significant place where important government decisions were made, including the Yalta Conference, which determined the post-war world order in 1945, – said the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov added that the authorities of the Republic of Crimea will provide all necessary assistance to carry out transformations in the museum.
Special thanks to Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, head of Sberbank of Russia German Oskarovich Gref, who gave new energy to the process of positive changes in the palace museum. I am confident that the Livadia Palace will continue to remain a space where the living history of the country is preserved— emphasized the Head of the Republic.
The jury of the competition included the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, the director of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Livadia Palace Museum» Larisa Kovalchuk, the director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Central Museum of Taurida» Andrey Malgin, and others.
REFERENCE. The All-Russian competition to create a concept for the re-exposition of the museum and the exposition of the new museum space of the Livadia Palace Museum was organized with the aim of forming a modern view of the country’s cultural space and developing research and creative competencies in the field of museum affairs. The competition ran from November 1, 2025 to December 12, 2025.
