Prospects for the construction of a 330 kV substation are being discussed in Sevastopol

The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergei Tsivilev arrived in Sevastopol on a working visit. During a meeting held in the city government, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev discussed with the Minister issues of energy development in the region. The event was also attended by the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov.

Sergei Evgenievich instructed the responsible persons to begin all necessary actions for the construction of the 330 kV Nakhimovskaya substation. For us, the construction of this facility is one of the most important tasks. It will ensure uninterrupted power supply to the Gagarinsky, Nakhimovsky and Balaklava districts, create the necessary capacity for new residential areas, which will be built under integrated development programs for territories,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

During the bilateral meeting, the head of the city and the minister discussed the details of the construction of the substation, as well as the prospects for the development of the energy complex in Sevastopol.

Preparatory work has already been carried out, and the optimal location of the substation has been determined. The project is being carried out by the state company Rosseti. The 330 kV substation will also allow us to build step-down substations. In particular, according to the state program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, we will build a 110 kV substation “Fiolent”“, the governor noted.

The Minister of Energy said that the meeting participants substantively reviewed projects being prepared for implementation, and noted the well-coordinated work of regional teams in terms of developing the energy complex.

Today, together with two regional leaders, we discussed in detail the state of energy in these regions. We examined specific projects in detail and approved a work plan for the construction of the Nakhimovskaya substation in Sevastopol. We also talked today about the implementation of a project for the construction of electrical energy storage facilities in the Republic of Crimea and many other projects in the field of energy. I would like to note the well-coordinated work of both regional teams and all enterprises that operate in these regionssaid Sergei Tsivilev.

Mikhail Razvozhaev also noted the effectiveness of the joint work of the heads of the subjects and the Ministry of Energy: after the last meeting held in the Republic of Crimea, the situation with fuel supplies to the peninsula was resolved within two weeks.
