Pyrotechnics of the Ministry of Emergency Situations blew up dangerous ammunition right in the Black Sea, at the place of discovery

May, in the waters of Dvukhyakornaya Bay (Feodosia village of Ordzhonikidze), pyrotechnicians of the Special Marine Detachment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea destroyed dangerous ammunition from the times of the Great Patriotic War. Two 250-kilogram aerial bombs were found on the seabed, 300 meters from the shore. They were also blown up there.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia discovered and identified explosive objects — a high-explosive aerial bomb (FAB-250) — 2 units. Pyrotechnic works on neutralization were carried out in compliance with all necessary safety measures. In total, 8 personnel and 2 pieces of equipment were involved in pyrotechnic work to neutralize explosive objects from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Republic of Crimea reported.
