Repair work has begun on the section of the Simferopol-Yalta highway (from Alushta to Massandra)

In Crimea, a major overhaul of the section of the highway «Simferopol — Alushta — Yalta» has begun. Drivers are warned about possible traffic difficulties. As reported in the Crimean Highway Service, the “centers” of work are from Alushta to Massandra. Namely, on the sections: 181 km + 795 m — 183 km + 195 m, 183 km + 224 m — 184 km + 176 m, 184 km + 580 m — 185 km + 180 m, 187 km + 500 m — 187 km + 948 m .

During the execution of work, the traffic organization scheme on the declared sections may be adjusted, temporary restrictions on traffic along the lanes are possible— clarified in the Crimean Road Service.

Road workers ask drivers to take this information into account when planning routes and pay attention to road signs and information boards. Moreover, these “temporary difficulties” are not for one day. The overhaul of the roadway should be completed by the end of 2024. The cost of the work is more than 9.6 billion rubles.
