Repairs of four roads are being completed in Balaklava

Thanks to the national project «Safe High-Quality Roads», the repair of four highways in Balaklava is being completed. Works are carried out on Sitnikova Street, in Profsoyuzny, Fizkulturny, Vodoprovodny lanes. Their total length is 0.5 km. In Profsoyuzny, Fizkulturny and Vodoprovodny lanes, the existing pavement was milled, side stones were replaced, and the leveling and top layers of the pavement were installed. Roadsides were also reinforced on Sitnikova Street.

In the near future, a commission will visit the facilities — specialists will determine the degree of readiness of the repair facilities for commissioning. In the absence of comments from the acceptance committee, the facilities are planned to be put into operation next month— said the press service of the Government of Sevastopol, director of the directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure Alexander Shiryaev.

Recall that Sitnikov Street is named after Petr Filippovich Sitnikov. For his courage and heroism, Lieutenant Sitnikov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously. His name was given to the street in the year of the 50th anniversary of the Victory. Near Vodoprovodny Lane there is a monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Harutyun Khachikovich Chakryan.
