Residents of Sevastopol are invited to take part in the “Family of the Year 2026” competition

— “Young family” — this category includes families where both spouses are no more than 35 years old, married and raising children;

— “Large family” — families raising three or more children under the age of 18 and/or full-time students;

— “Family dynasty” — families in which three or more generations have devoted themselves to one profession;

— “Family of the Defender of the Fatherland” — families in which one or more members are combat veterans, participants of the military military service, family members of fallen (deceased) defenders, volunteers helping participants of the military military service and members of their families, or activists of patriotic movements.

The finalists and winners of the regional stage will be determined by a commission, which will include representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, representatives of public organizations of the city. When assessing, members of the commission will take into account the contestants’ knowledge of their family history, traditions, existing family values ​​and traditions of raising children, family participation in public life, and the achievements of family members.

Documents are accepted from February 16 to March 15. A detailed list of documents is available on website Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Let us remind you that the national project “Family” was launched on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 1, 2025 and will operate until December 31, 2030. The main goal of the competition is to strengthen and promote family values ​​and traditions.
