Road accident in Sevastopol: a Gazelle and a motorcyclist failed to pass each other on the same road
In Sevastopol, on Pozharova Street, an accident occurred involving a Gazelle car and a Suzuki motorcycle; the motorcyclist was hospitalized with injuries. The circumstances of the incident are being established, the city traffic inspectorate reported. The accident occurred on Monday at about 11 o’clock in the area of house No. 28.
A 34-year-old driver, driving a Gazelle car, when driving through a controlled intersection at a traffic light signal when turning left, did not give priority to a Suzuki motorcycle moving straight in the opposite direction, driven by a 37-year-old driver, as a result of which a collision occurredsaid the traffic police.
The motorcyclist was injured and was taken to hospital. It is noted that at the time of the accident he was wearing a fastened helmet and protective equipment. The man will also be tested for the presence of alcohol in his blood.
The Gazelle driver showed no signs of intoxication.
Earlier on Pozharova Street in Sevastopol also suffered 16 year old motorcyclist. The teenager, who did not have a driver’s license and was driving an unregistered KTM motorcycle, lost control on the right curve of the road and crashed into a curb, after which he overturned.
