In Saki, the police received a report about the theft of alcoholic beverages from a city store. The seller said that in the early morning, when she came to work, she found a broken door glass and noticed that an unknown person had entered the store. Going inside the store, the seller discovered that alcoholic beverages worth almost 5 thousand rubles were the objects of criminal encroachment.
The measures taken allowed the police to identify the suspect and detain him «in hot pursuit.» As a result of operational actions, patrol officers detained a suspected 41-year-old resident of the city of Saki. Police found some of the stolen alcohol at the suspect’s home— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Saksky» initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). Secret theft of another’s property is punishable by a large fine up to five years in prison.
