Rosreestr explained the changes in the cadastral registration procedure that came into force in February
According to the order of Rosreestr dated October 23, 2024 N P/0328/24, now in the documents prepared by the cadastral engineer for submission to Rosreestr (landmark or technical plan, map-plan of the territory), information about the address of the object must be indicated in the form of its unique identifier.
Previously, cadastral engineers, when preparing technical and boundary plans, had to manually indicate the full postal address of the property. Any spelling error — even one extra letter — could be a reason for suspension of registration activities.
Now, instead of a long text address, documents will indicate its digital code — a unique address identifier that is assigned to each house, plot or building in the State Address Register (GAR).
This innovation eliminates errors when rewriting addresses.
