The Road Service of the Republic of Crimea informs that today 67 pieces of equipment have been involved in the winter maintenance of roads, about 1 142 tons of anti-icing materials and 10 tons of salt. Round-the-clock duty of special road equipment is organized. 416 km of roads were cleaned, 2 416 km of roads were treated with anti-icing materials.
Sections of roads in the areas of the Angarsky and Grushevsky passes and in the direction of Alushta — Sudak — Feodosia, as well as places with increased traffic intensity — the eastern and western bypasses of Simferopol, were cleaned and treated with anti-icing materials.
The situation on the regional and intermunicipal highways of the Republic of Crimea is currently stable, traffic is carried out without restrictions. Due to deteriorating weather conditions, we ask drivers to drive only in cars with winter tires, and also take into account the condition of the road surface when choosing a speed limit , — notes the Highway Service of the Republic of Crimea.
