Russian Crimea is in safe hands of the younger generation of patriots — Sergey Aksyonov
Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov met with the presidents of the student self-government of the Republic of Crimea at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University named after Fevzi Yakubov in the city of Simferopol. During the event, the events of the Crimean spring of 2014, issues related to the ideology of the Russian world and the reasons for the destruction of centuries-old culture and traditions by Ukraine were discussed.
Addressing the students, Sergei Aksyonov noted that the Russian Crimea is in good hands. “It is always nice to see the burning eyes of the younger generation, because it is the active modern youth who will make all the decisions in the future. Our mission is to help them succeed.— the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.
Schoolchildren asked Sergey Aksyonov about what would have happened to Crimea if it were not for the events of the Crimean spring.
The situation in the republic could be worse than in the Donbass. Obviously, if there was an opportunity, we would be attacked. In addition, the Kyiv authorities would have acted as they did years before — they would violate the national accord by pushing our foreheads together— said the Head of Crimea and added that the support of the President and the desire of the Crimeans to be with Russia became the key to the successful reunification of Crimea with Russia.
The school presidents were also interested in Sergei Aksyonov’s opinion about whether the youth of Russia needed an ideology, and the guidelines on which it should be based.
It is impossible to move forward and unite people without an ideology that is close and understandable to all people of all nationalities, all ages. The ideology of the Russian world is not some set of formulas, it is our history, our spirituality, the traditions of our ancestors, our relatives and friends, the memory of what they did for us, for which they risked their lives and died at the fronts. We are obliged to preserve, develop and increase all this. Russia is creating every opportunity for this— emphasizes the Head of the Republic.
In conclusion, Sergei Aksyonov told the school presidents that it is important for a leader to surround himself with professionals, in each area you need someone who will suggest the right way out of the situation.
Hero of Russia, Honorary Consul of Nicaragua in the Republic of Crimea Oleg Belaventsev, Honored Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov also answered the questions of the presidents of student self-government.
