Russian Emergency Situations Ministry rescuers and volunteers created a fairy tale for patients of the Republican Children’s Clinical Hospital
Six rescuers, using professional climbing equipment, descended to the windows of the chambers in Santa Claus costumes. Winter wizards greeted children through glass, giving them positive emotions and faith in miracles. Rescuers and volunteers also gave the children useful gifts and wished them a speedy recovery. As medical workers note, such events help young patients take their minds off hospital routine and painful procedures. For children forced to celebrate holidays within hospital walls, such a visit from “wizard heroes” becomes an unforgettable event and important emotional support.— said the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
The event was held jointly with volunteers of the National Center for Assistance to Missing and Injured Children in Crimea and Sevastopol and with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
