Russian Post sends parcels for CBO participants free of charge
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Parcels weighing up to 10 kg for CBO participants from the beginning of May are delivered free of charge. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko during a working trip to the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
On the eve of Victory Day, it is especially important that servicemen feel the attention and care from friends and relatives. We have made a decision and given relevant instructions so that parcels weighing up to 10 kg are delivered free of charge to the participants of the CBO. This measure is effective May 1, 2023. I call on all those who are not indifferent to take the opportunity and send parcels for the fighters! This will be a significant support for them on the eve of the Victory Day— said Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that the instructions had been sent to all post offices in the country, including Kherson, Zaporozhye regions, Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, as well as Crimea.
According to the Russian Post, the number of parcels up to 10 kg, which can be issued by one sender, is not limited. Detailed information on the rules for free sending of parcels to military personnel in the NVO zone can be clarified at the contact center of the Russian Post by phone 8-800-100-00-00.
