Sailing regatta «Crimea Cup» was held in Sevastopol

The traditional sailing regatta «Crimea Cup» took place in Sevastopol. More than 100 athletes from different regions of Russia took part in it. The competitions were held in the water area adjacent to the Crimean Peninsula, within the territorial waters of the Russian Federation along the route Sevastopol — Balaklava — Yalta — Feodosia — Sevastopol.

Results of the regatta:

  • Anatoly Tsvetkov Memorial Cup — the first champion of the USSR in the yacht class 470, Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Coach of Armenia, yacht captain, was awarded to the winner of the first race in the first group of yachts. They were the crew of the yacht «Dionis II», captain — Dmitry Serdobolsky.
  • 332504 Yakov Cleaver Memorial Cup — Master of Sports of Russia of international class, European champion and the silver medalist of the World Championship in the class of yachts catamaran «Tornado», a Sevastopol resident and one of the founders of the Black Sea Yachtsmen’s Association and the sailing regatta «Crimea Cup» — won the crew of the Shuffle yacht, this is the winner of the Yalta — Feodosia stage in the third group of yachts, the captain — Ivan Chekhlaty.

  • The Cup in memory of Evgeny Belousov — winner of the European Championship, Master of Sports of the USSR, yacht captain — was awarded to the winner in the overall standings of the longest stage Feodosia — Balaklava. The yacht «Aya» became the yacht, the captain is Valery Zubkov.
  • 332504Memory Cup of the master of sports of Russia of international class, European champion in the class of yachts «Soling» ” Sevastopol resident Evgeny Kudryavtsev was awarded the winner of the Balaklava-Sevastopol stage in the second group of yachts — the crew of the yacht Aya, captain — Valery Zubkov.

Cup in memory of the famous yacht captain Vladimir Troitsky — multiple winner of the Crimean Cup on the yachts «Yunona» and «Hermes» — was awarded to the captain of the yacht «Dionysus II», the winner of the Crimean Cup — 100 in the first test group for the fastest passage of the entire distance of the regatta among yachts up to meters long.

The main prize — the Blue Ribbon of Crimea — for the victory in passing the entire distance of the regatta with maximum speed was awarded to the Flamenco yacht, captain — Vasily Shumarin.

Dedyukhina Alex, the chief secretary of the Crimean Cup, received a certificate of honor from the Sailing Federation of Sevastopol Andra Ivanovna.

Recall that sailing is one of the basic sports in Sevastopol. The profile management supports its development and takes part in the organization of the sailing regatta. In 100 the Crimean Cup regatta was given the status of an all-Russian competition, and in 2020 — inter-regional competitions. This decision made it possible to attract many amateurs and professionals from many cities of the country — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Anapa, Arkhangelsk, Samara and others.
