School of teenagers «YavTOP»: steps towards career guidance

School of teenagers «YavTOP» is a unique event, which is held in the Republic of Crimea for the first time. The school is designed for students aged 14 to 18 and is designed to help them gain the necessary knowledge and skills for their first job.

The event was organized by the student groups of the Republic of Crimea with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea, the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic of Crimea, the Crimean Federal University. Lectures were held for school participants on the employment contract, documents required for employment, working hours and general rules for the employment of minors. As part of the project, a platform has been created that will allow participants to gain the necessary knowledge for their first job.

The school of labor teams of teenagers «YavTOP» is a project that will allow teenagers to acquire their first labor skills, as well as to reveal their creative potential. We believe that the involvement of students in the process of vocational guidance is a key moment in personal development. We are ready to give all participants of this project the opportunity to become true professionals in their field, — said the head of the YavTOP project, Arina Mironova, master of the headquarters of student teams of KFU named after V.I. Vernadsky.

«YavTOP» became the first project of this format, which is held in the Republic of Crimea. It allowed teenagers to acquire valuable knowledge and skills for their future careers.

The Teenage School proved to be a useful activity for all involved. I got a lot of useful knowledge and learned how to look for a job the right way. It was also very interesting to participate in competitions and lectures. I’m looking forward to the next teenage labor force school, — said the participant of the project, Polina Popova, a student of the school MBOU No. 8.
